It is essential to find a therapist that is right for you. One of the key components to counselling is the relationship between you the client and your therapist. It is the relationship that heals. Thus, finding the right therapist for you is imperative and it will come down to personal preference and what feels like a comfortable connection.
My name is Kassandra Greaves-Ramal and after completing a degree in Psychology I worked for a number of years in the private sector. It was during this time I realised my passion has always been to work with people and thus I commenced my journey into becoming a qualified counsellor.
I hold an Fd.Sc in Integrative Counselling and I am a British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy registered member (MBACP).
The foundation of my work is Clarkson’s 5 Relational Therapeutic Model, providing an integrative framework which allows me to support you and your self-exploration.
I have experience of working with clients who have presented with issues of:
- Social and General Anxiety
- Low Self Esteem
- Relationship Issues.
As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) I work in accordance with their Ethical Framework, working to professional standards including attending monthly supervision and regular continued professional development.
Areas in which I have attended training courses, to expand my awareness and provide me with greater understanding, include:
- Domestic Abuse
- Gender, Sexuality and Relationship Diversity
I also support individuals on a voluntary basis in a GP surgery in Surrey, counselling those with a variety of issues as well as having my own private practice, KGR Counselling in Merstham, Surrey.
I appreciate this may be a difficult time, and it may be daunting to seek help but making that brave and courageous first step is all important.
As establishing the client-therapist relationship is vital to the counselling process I invite you to contact me to ease any concerns or queries you may have.
